Jewellery & Watch Valuations and Insurance
The cost for a valuation is $95.
If your item is particularly complex, there may be an additional charge, however this is rare.
For two-item sets to be valued on the one certificate (such as a chain and pendant), the cost is $150. This also applies to two-ring sets that are soldered together.
We can generally complete your valuation within 5-7 business days, however turnaround times may vary based on our current workload. Your item(s) that are being valued are stored safely and securely during this time and are covered by insurance whilst in our possession.
If you would prefer not to leave your item(s) with us overnight, you are welcome to book an appointment in advance so that you can drop off and pick up your item(s) for a same-day valuation. This appointment will generally need to be made 1-2 weeks in advance, and we will require the item to be dropped off in-store between 9:00 - 9:30am to ensure a same-day completion. The item will be ready for collection at 4:00pm that afternoon.
If you require an urgent valuation that needs to be completed without prior notice on the same-day or next-day, there will be an express valuation cost which is higher than our regular valuation charge. This cost is $150.
Our in-house Watch Valuer has extensive experience in timepieces who can complete watch and clock valuations for insurance or legal purposes.
$150 per watch. This is all-inclusive of watch styles (wrist, pocket, nurse, etc).
Our turnaround time for a watch valuation is up to two weeks, however this may change depending on its complexity and research required. It is best to contact us prior to find out our current lead time, as circumstances and work load may vary these timeframes.
